Zeller Plastik Philippines expands into beverage market

Global Closure Systems (GCS) has expanded its manufacturing capacity in the Philippines to serve the local market’s robust demand for carbonated soft drinks (CSD).

The company today officially launches two new manufacturing lines for beverage closures under the Obrist brand in its Manila plant.

The plant expansion will enable the company to fabricate an additional 500 million beverage closures annually.

The new lines will produce Obrist closures for carbonated and non-carbonated soft drinks – both for PET and returnable glass bottles.
