US Firm offers FDA regulatory training sessions in China
FDAImports.com and ExportToUsa.com.cn hosted a series of complimentary FDA regulatory training sessions in Beijing and Shanghai, China for Chinese companies exporting FDA-regulated goods to the US in June 2011.
More than 70 people from 30 companies attended the training sessions.
They include companies on FDA import alert, those first-time access to the US market, and others with a track record of exporting products to the US.
Benjamin England, former FDA Regulatory Counsel and founder and CEO of FDAImports.com, and former USDA/FSIS expert consultant John Wu presented valuable insights and regulatory compliance tips on the topics of FDA detentions, import alerts, FDA refusals and legal compliance benefits.
England addressed some of the new FDA requirements and regulations coming out of the recent Food Safety Modernization Act.
