Tocomin Palm Tocotrienol Complex won an award

Carotech said its flagship product Tocomin natural full spectrum palm tocotrienol complex has won the Nutrafiles Award for Ingredient of the Year, 2010.

Based in the UK, Nutrafiles is an independent market research company that specializes in health ingredients for the health nutrition industry.

The Nutrafiles Award collected readers' votes on 14 top ingredients from 2009 to 2010.

Top candidates which included AstaReal, Solactis and other branded ingredients, were selected based on their overall scoring of Nutrafiles' six bench marking criteria - intellectual property rights, market potential, regulatory status, novelty, biology action, health prevalence area.

According to Nutrafiles, voters who chose Tocomin as it has a large amount of scientific evidence, is effective and natural.
