There was much talk about how technology can provide better food traceability and safety at the ASEAN Food Traceability and Safety Power seminars in Vietnam, Singapore and Thailand last month. The seminars continue in Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines this month.

Organized in partnership with Asia Food Journal and another Reed Business Information Asia publication Logistics Insight Asia, IBM shared on the benefits technology can bring to manufacturers in their operations, administration and food traceability.

Delegates I spoke to say they are better equipped with more information that can help them consider the roadmap of technology in their businesses. While some have safety measures in place, many have expressed their commitment to have the best know-how in order to move their operations forward.
