SAP wins SCM award in Asia
For the second year running, SAP has won the Best Supply Chain Management Software Provider award at the SCM Logistics World Conference held from October 13 to 15 in Singapore.
The event, the largest of its kind in the Asia Pacific region, attracted over 450 supply chain practitioners.
"SAP is building our leadership in the SCM space from idea to delivery. This goes beyond the more traditional view that excellence lies only in strong supply chain planning and execution. In the Asia Pacific region especially, manufacturers are recognizing that the supply chain starts from product innovation to design, source, make, store, move, sell through to service," says Yap Ong Guan, senior director, Supply Chain and Procurement, SAP Asia Pacific Japan.
This win comes after SAP announced earlier this year that 17 of the companies recognized as leaders in the annual AMR Research Supply Chain Top 25, including Lockheed Martin, Procter & Gamble and Research in Motion (RIM), are customers of SAP AG.
