Oxo-biodegradable additive obtains Emirates Quality Mark

Wells Plastics says it has become the first company to obtain the Emirates Quality Mark certification for oxo-biodegradable additives from the Federal UAE Authority called Emirates Authority for Standardisation & Metrology or ESMA.

The certification was issued for its Reverte brand of oxo-biodegradable additive that is certified as complying with the newly introduced UAE Standard: S 5009 - Standard & Specification for Oxo-biodegradation of Plastic bags and other disposable Plastic objects.

This certification approves the material as a solution for producing eco-friendly plastics.
