Oscar Mayer uses Graphic’s microwavable trays with laminated pockets to better heat its sandwiches

Graphic Packaging has created a microwavable tray for Oscar Mayer’s Deli Creations that can heat up sandwich melts in a minute.

The US-based company says the use of its “QuiltWave” microwave packaging – laminated pockets, which expand when exposed to microwave energy and provide close contact with the food product – ensures heat consistency and warms the sandwich up to "restaurant-quality."
