New vegetarian lycopene formulation

With LycoVit 10 CWD/S, BASF now offers a vegetarian lycopene formulation for food and beverage applications. It is vegetarian, non-animal derived, allergen-free, protein-free, genetically modified organism (GMO)-free, Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE)/ transmissible spongiform encephalopathies (TSE)-unaffected, Kosher- and Halal-certified. Dispersible in coldwater, it is suitable for beverages such as lemonade, sport drinks, multivitamin juices, fruit-based drinks, ready-to-drink beverages, liquid supplements and meal replacements. Part of BASF’s Universal Formula range of nutritional ingredients, LycoVit 10 CWD/S can be used in dairy products, cereals and nutrition bars.
