New series RPV reducing pressure valve

W.E. Anderson, a Division of Dwyer Instruments, has launched its new series RPV reducing pressure valve.

The valve is a compact, moderately priced steam, water or gas regulator intended to satisfy basic requirements for pressure reduction.

It is applicable on steam irons, autoclaves, laundry mangles, single radiators, steam tables, vulcanizers, steam, water or gas applications.

Available in sizes half to two inches cast iron and half to once inch in stainless steel, the stainless steel reducing pressure valve is rated to 300 psig at 420°F and the cast iron reducing pressure valve is rated at 200 psig at 400°F.

The RPV reduces pressures from 3 to 140 psi.

The valve also feature spherical seating surface on floating stainless steel disc for tight shutoff, different spring ranges, and integral stainless steel strainer.
