New metal detectable tags and labels

The new Detectamet tag standard features effective heat, strength resistance and round durability.

Detectamet tag is a quad laminate material used for tags designed for the food processing environments and detectable by end of line metal detectors.

It has an 80g thermal transfer printable mid-gloss face paper on one side and an uncoated writing paper on the other side, sandwiching a special metal-detectable aluminum foil and a synthetic strengthening layer.

The tag is resistant to delaminating (especially in acid products), features minimal swarf at perforation, enables product identification by wrapping around tray handles. However, it is not intended for direct food contact.
