Natural oxidative protector for chocolate

Oxidation and rancidity developments have been recognized as main causes of deterioration in confectionary products during storage. That is why Vitiva of Slovenia has come up with a natural solution for keeping chocolate products fresh for an extended period of time. The allergen-free ingredient, Inolens 12, protects chocolate and other confectionery products, such as praline or toffee sauces, from going bad, without any change in taste or aroma. It has been successfully tested in chocolate pralines, extending their shelf life by 30 percent. An alternative to synthetic antioxidants that are commonly used as processing aids, this ready-to-use formulation blends in easily with ingredients in the product such as cocoa powder, sugar, powdered milk and fats. Inolens 12 also comes in handy for confectionery products with nut pieces that tend to be highly prone to oxidation.
