MonoSol expansion production capabilities

MonoSol LLC announces the next phase in its expansion program to increase production capacity at their global manufacturing facilities.

“For the past five years, MonoSol has developed technology that has grown worldwide consumer and commercial product demand for water soluble films and solutions,” said P. Scott Bening, President and CEO.

“This increasing demand has been met by consistently and methodically increasing capacity at our manufacturing sites in the US and England.”

MonoSol expects to increase capacity for water soluble film manufacturing by more than 20% in 2010 and an additional 20% in 2011 and will add similar solution production capacity.

This increase is being driven by advances in several growth market areas such as unit dose packaging, composite fabricating and MonoSol’s new dust abatement solution product called TerraLOC.
