Merger of Friesland Foods and Campina to go ahead
Stakeholders of Friesland Foods and Campina say both companies are to merge.
The European Commission has also approved to the divestiture of some of the fresh dairy activities in the Netherlands, one cheese production plant in the Netherlands and two long-life dairy drink brands in the Netherlands and Belgium.
The merger is expected to take place on 30 December 2008.
