Marel showcases systems in seafood show in China
At the 15th Annual China Fisheries & Seafood Expo 2010 in Dalian, China between November 2 and 4, Marel will demonstrate its most recent concepts in the areas of weighing and batching and portion cutting that will significantly reduce giveaway and improve profits.
It will demonstrate a compact high-speed portion cutter, the I-Cut10, which can create fixed weight portions of most fish species, such as pangasius, tilapia, cod or salmon.
Besides substantial savings on labor, the improvements in yield will ensure a fast payback.
TargetBatcher, a unique weighing machine that combines a predetermined number of pre-cut pieces into an exact weight batch will also be live on action.
It increases throughput and accuracy while simplifying product input.
The range of Townsend Further Processing systems for sausage-making, portioning, marinating, coating and heat treatment will also be featured at the show.
