Loma wins top food processing award

Loma Systems’ pioneering variable frequency technology across its range of IQ3 metal detectors has won the prestigious Technical Development award at this year’s Food Processing Awards.

Loma scooped the award at a gala dinner reception attended by over 250 food industry leaders held at the Hinkley Island hotel in Leicestershire.

The event recognises and rewards cutting edge product development, innovation and quality.

Now in its 27th year, the award nominees are judged globally by the public with over 3,500 votes.

Loma also picked up a finalist award in the Innovation category for their CW3 combination checkweigher and metal detector.
