Krones’ show capabilities in intralogistics at ProMat 2009

At the ProMat 2009, visitors will be able to view Krones’ capabilities in the field of intralogistics: highlights include a fully automated warehouse and a fully automatic order-picking system for the beverage industry.

Intra-plant logistics are increasingly recognised as a core process in production facilities.

To create the responsively customised solution, Krones says its machines manufactured in-house are integrated, but outsourced systems are used as well, combined to create a holistically harmonised system optimally tailored to the client’s needs and controlled by Krones’ IT.

The company says it already plans and builds complete beverage factories, including the warehousing and material flow technologies involved.
