Kraton sets up office in Shanghai
Kraton Polymers has completed a customer service center, as well as opened a new technical center located in Shanghai, China. The technical center will serve customers in the Asia Pacific region by providing product testing, quality assurance, and customer service. Kraton’s new technical center also includes packaging capabilities.
The customer service center is designed to include both distribution capabilities and technical product support for customers in the region. In February 2007, Kraton announced the opening of the distribution center, which includes storage and packaging. The company says the distribution center is off to a fast start reducing order lead times in Asia Pacific by as many as five weeks.
“The completion of this new center is a major step in building the necessary infrastructure to support our customers growing needs,” explains Michael Evans, vice president, Asia Pacific.
