KHS launches vacuum CIP system

KHS has launched its latest vacuum CIP system, which allows for a more efficient method of cleaning of beverage tanks at medium temperatures of up to 50°C.

The German company said the vacuum system installed on the CIP frame replaces the usual cleaning media return pumps installed in the tank area and is now used for returning the cleaning media.

The system also eliminates the usual mixing of media during media changeover and the resulting loss of cleaning agents offering considerable savings potential, said KHS in a statement.
