Kemin names new business director

Kemin welcomes Michael Zheng as business director for the China food technologies division of Kemin Industries.

In his new role, Zheng will provide leadership to the sales team as well as oversee other functional areas of the food technologies business in China.

“Our business in China has more than doubled in the last few years, with continued growth expected in the future,” says Melanie Galloway, president of the food technologies division of Kemin Industries.

“I am confident Michael’s extensive experience in the industry will enable him to further Kemin’s position in the Chinese food industry.”

Zheng has held key positions with several companies in the food industry, most recently at DSM where he served as business manager for soy peptides in the Asia Pacific.

He holds a food science degree from Shihezi University, Shihezi, Xinjiang and is pursuing his Masters of business administration at Fudan University, Shanghai, China.
