JBT Corp: Two major foodtech orders totaling $28M

JBT Corporation has announced two contracts worth in total $28 million.

The first order is a $17 million contract to provide coating, frying, cooking and freezing solutions at a new meat and poultry plant in North America.

The process solutions were developed together with the customer in JBT's Food Processing Technology Center in Sandusky, OH.

The second order is an $11 million contract for an automated batch retort system.

The customer is a European headquartered food company with operations in the US.

This new system will provide the processor with leading technology to process a wide range of packaging configurations while reducing labor costs and improving energy efficiencies versus traditional equipment.
