Intermec announces new hires in APAC region

Intermec introduces its new hires for the Asia Pacific region, which will further strengthen the company’s capabilities and expertise in the region. Penny Chai is the new director of Marketing in Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, Chai will manage Intermec’s channel marketing program, help define local product and solution requirements and drive field marketing activities to increase the company’s level of engagement with customers and partners. She has almost 15 years of marketing experience at Texas Instruments, Hewlett-Packard and most recently at Dell B.V. She holds a Bachelor of Arts/Social Science from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration from Monash University (Australia).

Cary Noah is Intermec’s new senior director, Asia Operations and he is responsible for leading and setting direction for supply chain operations in the region. In his new role, Noah’s focus is to ensure on-time customer service, quality controls for the company's suppliers in the APAC region and quality logistics operations. Noah has over 18 years of experience in the supply chain industry and he has previously worked with Hewlett-Packard and Fluke Corp. He holds a Bachelor of Arts, Management from Sonoma State University and a Master of Business Administration from San Francisco State University.

Andrew Chew is Intermec’s senior director in the Printer Engineering for the Printer Media Division. He is responsible for printer and printing solutions development such as strategy and roadmap development and manages 50 professionals based in Asia and the US. Chew previously held positions at Dell and Hewlett Packard and has 17 years of printer development experience in R&D management. He holds a Bachelor of Science with Mechanical Engineering from California State University Sacramento and a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of California at Davis.
