Indonesia’s Friesland Foods Kievit earns ISO 9001, HACCP certification

Spray-dried and encapsulated-ingredients manufacturer Friesland Foods Kievit is getting tough on food safety. Its Salatiga, Central Java production facility has earned ISO 9001 and HACCP certification, only a year after opening. In spring 2006, it also secured halal and GMP certificates.

Kievit Indonesia recently announced a $28-million expansion of its food ingredients spray-drying capacity, as well as the opening of a new sales office.
