India to dish safe food at the Commonwealth Games

With the Commonwealth Games in less than three months away, TQS Global Management System has launched the "Safe Food Destination" program for food safety concerns related to the games with the standard devised by Food Safety & Standards Authority of India.

"For the first time in India, TQS is bringing consumer insurance as in terms of limited claims towards any mishap/ illness arising out of food safety issues in TQS registered SFD outlets," said Mr. N.L.B Pantulu , VP operations.

SFD offers the testing of the food products, training of the staff, auditing and consulting.

“The program covers all aspects of food protection from the moment the raw product is received at the restaurant and the finished product is presented to the guest. This program is a must for all restaurants aspiring to compete with world standard eating standards."
