High-speed shrink wrapper

Krones has fine-tuned its Variopac shrink-wrapper to feature a guide rail with high-precision adjustment to swiftly and accurately adjust the machine to new dimensions, and to allow reproducibility. The compensation belt between the film-wrapping station and the shrink-tunnel now features active belt control and a rolling blade, to extend the belt’s lifetime, particularly for high-output lines. The shrink tunnel also features an optimized control loop with temperature probes to accommodate the ever-thinner films.
