Henkel receives Walmart Sustainability Award

For the second year in a row, US retail giant Walmart presented Henkel the Walmart Sustainability Award.

Henkel was recognized again as the company demonstrating the most comprehensive commitment to sustainability, thus making a substantial contribution to the retailer’s sustainability strategy.

As members of international Walmart working groups, Henkel employees from Germany, Central America and North America bring their knowledge to the table on matters such as ecology, packaging and consumer communications.

Their expertise covers the entire value chain – from raw materials and production to transportation, product use and disposal.

Henkel also provides its retail customer with brand-name products that represent significant savings in material, waste volumes and/or water consumption compared to conventional products.
