Fortitech expands operations in South America
Fortitech South America has announced plans to double the size of the company's facility in Campinas, Brazil to 65,000 sq/ft.
Scheduled for completion in late 2011, the enlarged facility will enable the company to continue to grow its business in South America, while enhancing and expanding its services.
A key component of this expansion will be the company's ability to provide finished packaging for powdered products in a variety of forms including sachets, cans, boxes and pouches for the South American market.
Once completed, the new facility will be the company's third largest operation worldwide (after corporate headquarters and Asia Pacific) and includes a laboratory for developing and testing premixes as well as a larger manufacturing and distribution center.
