DSM improves production processes for resVida trans-resveratrol

DSM Nutritional Products says advances in manufacturing will allow the company to provide a better competitive position next year for its resVida brand of trans-resveratrol.

The company says there is significant progress in process efficiencies and technology optimization in the production of its resVida 99% pure trans-resveratrol.

There are also more resVida launches in the food, beverage and supplement markets, resulting in improved manufacturing economies of scale.

resVida trans-resveratrol has also been chosen by internationally recognized research institutions that are currently conducting human clinical trials reinforcing the scientific evidence of the effects of trans-resveratrol on cardiovascular health, aging and other health benefit areas.
