Doehler introduces natural colors range
Doehler’s Red Brilliance is a new range of natural colors made from black carrots that meets the requirements of clean labeling.
Doehler presents innovative, technology-based, natural ingredients and ingredient systems at the Anuga FoodTec.
These include Red Brilliance, a new range of natural colors made from black carrots, a new generation of cloudy and clear emulsions for a particularly authentic fruit flavor, as well as the most technologically advanced malt bases.
The company will also present nutrient media for the microbiological detection of beverage spoiling microorganisms under the brand name Döhler Microsafety Design.
It will also highlight integrated ingredient portfolio, innovative product concepts – from fresh malt beverages, natural beer mix concepts and ciders to authentic tea beverages and innovative carbonated soft drinks.
Red Brilliance, a range of natural, shining red tones, is produced from black carrot in Doehler's plant in Akkent, Turkey.
Optimizing the physical processing of the black carrot, the resulting coloring concentrates are reportedly superior to other colors containing anthocyanin in terms of stability and cost-of-use.
The color range covers warm orange tones to shining ruby tones all the way to shades of blue, meets the requirements of clean labeling and can be used in many food and beverage applications.
