Bericap launches new closure for the edible oil industry

The pickle and edible oil industry in Turkey were suffering from serious leakage problems of their package due to the use of conventional closure solutions without the tamper evident (TE) band.

Tightness of the package could not be achieved with the existing closure profile.

Bericap has therefore designed the new SK 110/37 closure that features a non-leaking profile and with a TE-band to secure products against potential counterfeiting.

The new SK 110/37 screw cap is equipped with a newly developed non-leaking profile by designing a specific inner sealing lip, which ensure tightness of the package.

The closure is completed by a TE-band to secure the content against counterfeiting.

A handle in addition offers a good comfort to carry the container for the consumer.

Bericap Turkey started the production of SK 110/37 in July 2008 and its customers include Kucukbay and pickle producer Tariº Sirke.
