Ardagh Group wins iF packaging awards

Ardagh Group received four prestigious 2011 iF Packaging Awards for metal packaging products namely PowerClick, OptiLift, the Embossed Aerosol Can and the 5L Spray System.

These products earned top marks for their practical and innovative features, particularly for "being able to successfully assert themselves in a highly competitive, international environment," according to the panel of judges.

PowerClick is a space saver, designed for cans to click handily on top of each other, while OptiLift features a convenient finger hold beneath the tab to facilitate opening.

The Embossed Aerosol Can meets the highest specification for accuracy thanks to a fully integrated embossing tool located in the high-speed production line.

The 5L Spray System is a prototype created from the company's award-winning 5L Beer Keg.

This ready-to-use 'all-in-one' spray system consists of a 5L sealed paint container, a pressure system and is equipped with a hose, colour pistol and nozzle.

Easy to handle and to use, it aims to make a home decoration more convenient.

They will be on display at Ardagh's stand at Interpack in Düsseldorf, Germany, between May 12 and 18, 2011.
