Archer Daniels Midland selects site for cocoa plant
Archer Daniels Midland Company has chosen the location of its newest cocoa processing facility.
"We are pleased to announce Hazleton, Pennsylvania, US as our location of choice for this state-of-the-art facility," states Mark Bemis, president.
Construction, pending final permitting approvals, is set to begin this fall, with the facility expected to be operational in mid-2007.
ADM has cocoa-processing plants in Asia, North and South America, Europe, and Africa. The manufacturer also processes soybeans, corn, and wheat.
