Anlit launches supplement for children
Anlit Advanced Nutrition (Israel) and Ingredia Nutritional (France) have developed Sweet Dreams, a supplement format designed for children age one to 14 to sleep better during the night.
These sugar-free, vanilla-flavored bears contain Lactium and will be launched at VitaFoods in Geneva.
Observing the calm state of a baby after drinking milk, researchers attempted to identify a relationship between milk consumption and calmness.
Using a digestive enzyme, Ingredia Nutritional developed Lactium, a milk casein hydrolysate containing a bioactive decapeptide with relaxing properties.
Lactium is a food-grade, patented product that is also a natural bioactive ingredient with an effectiveness supported by a decade of research and strong clinical studies.
Anlit has developed a high stability, anhydrous matrix in addition to single sealed units for each bear to increase the product shelf life.
"The delicious vanilla-milk taste keeps the child relaxed and the mother happy," says Shai Karlinski, VP of sales and marketing of Anlit.
"Each yogurt bear contains 75mg of Lactium to support a good night's sleep for toddlers and children. It's an important addition to our product line of supplements for children designed to answer specific health concerns."
