Alcan Packaging acquisition complete

Amcor says the acquisition of the Alcan Packaging businesses is completed. The purchase consideration of $1,948 million represents a profit before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (PBITDA) multiple of 5.1 times based on earnings for the year ended December 31, 2009 of $383 million (excluding the medical flexible operations in the US).
