New antioxidant concepts from WILD

Dated: 8 May 2008

WILD has succeeded in creating a basic pack containing natural antioxidants that can also be used in light-colored products. The company now offers this pack to the food industry for use in baked goods and ice cream.

Products containing antioxidants currently on the market are mainly based on bioactive ingredients from red fruits. In the past, when light yellow to orange colored products were enriched with polyphenols, the taste deteriorated.

WILD also now offers a basic pack for light-colored products along with the antioxidant blend for use in red-colored products.

These concepts fulfill consumer demands for natural products with added health benefits while focusing on the increasing popularity of healthy antioxidants.
