ProPak Vietnam 2008, the 4th international processing and packaging exhibition and conference for Vietnam concluded with record results this year having attracted 6,810 trade professionals from 36 countries during the four day event held at the HIECC, Ho Chi Ming city from the 5-8 March 2008.
The opening of the exhibition and conference was presided over by the Vice Minister of Industry & Trade who acclaimed the event describing ProPak Vietnam 2008 as “a good opportunity for the producers in the industry to expand cooperation and investment in order to enhance the competitive capacity and quality of their products”.
ProPak Vietnam 2008’s success was due to the high level of trade professional attendees and participation from 169 companies from 23 countries.
In highest attendance were companies based in Thailand, locally based manufacturers and distributors from Vietnam, then from Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, China, Germany, Malaysia, the UK and the US.
International Groups at the event included Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and Thailand.
The next ProPak Vietnam will be held at the new state-of-the-art Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City from 17 – 20 March 2010.
