Cooperation between Multivac and Ishida for integrated packing line solutions

Dated: 21 September 2007

Packaging companies Multivac and Ishida have agreed on a strategic cooperation that will provide customers with fully integrated packing line solutions.

Combining the strengths of both suppliers, Multivac will distribute Ishida Quality Centre equipment, and its own thermoformers, traysealers and labellers, under Multivac group branding in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

This means that customers in the fresh food industry (meat, poultry, fish and dairy) are provided with complete line solutions.

Ishida will continue selling its own products and line solutions to its customer base in snacks, confectionery, biscuits, cereals, frozen foods, salads, ready meals, fresh food and value-added products, also in the same continents, with some exceptions.
