Rugged handheld computer with near/far imaging

Dated: 1 August 2007

Intermec’s CK31ex is the first handheld computer with integrated near-far area imaging technology that can read virtually any symbology from six inches to 50 feet. With the CK31ex mobile computer, warehouse workers need only one device for all data collection applications, including scanning 1D, 2D, composite and postal codes, and image capture. Its extended range means that companies can apply the benefits of area imaging across their total warehouse operations—existing and future—opening up new application opportunities and efficiencies.
