Malaysia to host functional foods conference

Malaysia will play host to the second international conference on East-West perspectives on functional foods this November.

Held in Kuala Lumpur, the two-and-a-half day event will take on issues such as regulation, innovation and technology. Organisers said studies of selected traditional Asian functional food and its impact on health will also be discussed.

The event will be held from Nov 5 to 7, 2007 at the Crowne Plaza Mutiara, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. For more information, log on to www.functionalfoods2007asia.com.
