Baby Isotonic Drink (South Korea)

1 June 2007

Parents will do almost anything for their children and manufacturers know that. Case in point: Maeil has developed an isotonic drink for infants, claiming to help babies replace fluids, energy and electrolytes lost through sweating while exercising or taking a bath. (A spate of infant-yoga and gym classes has cropped up in response to the increasing threat of childhood obesity.) Whether this original product is necessary, remains to be seen. Nevertheless, the Maeil Aqua Mamma drink scores points for its formulation which includes organic fruit extracts. A three-pack of 200-milliliter bottles retails for $3.21.
