Heat and Control's FastBack Dust Control Hood

Dated: 1 March 2007

With snack manufacturing comes the inevitable problem of airborne dust caused by applying salt, cheese fl avors and other seasonings. So Heat and Control has developed dust control hoods for its FastBack Revolution Seasoning Systems, which mounts at the end of its tumble drums and shrouds the area directly above the multihead weigher's center dispersion cone. The lightweight single-piece hood can reportedly be pivoted open or easily removed without tools for easy cleaning and inspection.
