Symbol Technologies says revenue for second quarter 2006 was at $453.1 million, six percent higher than second quarter 2005’s $427.8 million.
The enterprise mobility manufacturer also announced that its board of directors has authorized a $200-million share repurchase. Under the program, Symbol will repurchase shares from time to time, for cash in open-market transactions or in privately-negotiated transactions.
