At the upcoming FI Asia 2006, which will be held in Bangkok from 13–15th September 06, Chr Hansen will be exhbiting with the East Asiatic (Thailand) Public Company—the manufacturer's appointed distributor in Thailand. The concept for the event is 'health'; therefore Chr Hansen’s specialists will be highlighting Natural Colors and Probiotics.
Health has become well-established in the minds of the consumer and in the food industry; so much so that is having a major impact on new product development. Growing consumer awareness of probiotics in new markets is creating new business opportunities for food and dairy manufacturers.

Probiotic means 'for life' and can be defined as live microbials that have a beneficial effect on human health, mainly in gastrointestinal health and immune function.
