American Kellogg Company says that organic and natural foods are growing at a rate of more than 20 percent per year; as a result, the company has developed Keebler Toasteds Organic Harvest Wheat crackers.
Kellogg says the Toasteds Organic Harvest Wheat crackers meet USDA organic requirements, including certification of farming, production and handling methods, and they contain no pesticides, artificial preservatives or artificial ingredients.
"Kellogg Company constantly strives to understand changing consumer needs," explains Raj Joshi, senior director crackers marketing, Kellogg Company. "We felt the time was right to provide this option for consumers."
With 2005 sales in excess of $10 billion, Kellogg Company is the world's leading producer of cereal and a leading producer of convenience foods, including cookies, crackers, toaster pastries, cereal bars, frozen waffles, meat alternatives, piecrusts and ice-cream cones. The company's brands include Kellogg's, Keebler, Pop-Tarts, Eggo, Cheez-It, Nutri-Grain, Rice Krispies, Murray, Austin, Morningstar Farms, Famous Amos, Carr's.
