Helicobacter pylori bacterial causes an array of gastrointestinal symptoms, including abdominal pain, reflux, indigestion, diarrhea and constipation. Now BioGaia says its probiotic Reuteri may reduce those stomach complaints, including ulcers.

Studies conducted by Dr. Ruggiero Fancavalla, from the University of Bari, reportedly show that the probiotic decreases the bacteria, confirming similar results found by Japanese researchers at the Kyorin University School of Medicine.
