Thermo Electron Corporation has launched two new liquid autosamplers used for the quality control of beverages. The company says the AI 3000 and AS 3000 are designed to complement the FlashEA 1112 elemental analyzer.
The new liquid autosamplers feature automatic alignment so needle syringe damages are reduced or annulled due to the automatic check performed by the system before starting the operational cycles.

Net sales for second quarter 2008 were EUR 5.8 billion, down 0.8% from the same period last year. At constant exchange rates, net sales increased by 7.3%.
