Big means better, right? Not this time says Lactasoy, one of Thailand’s largest manufacturers of UHT soymilk. In a market dominated by 250ml packs, a smaller potentially less visible product didn’t seem to make sense. Until now. The tiny 125ml packs are a standout amongst their larger competitors, says the company. They are easy to distribute. And they provide just the right amount of soymilk for smaller appetites.

Lactasoy reports the tiny 125ml packs are flying off the shelves The company claims to be the first soymilk manufacturer to embrace UHT or ‘ultra heat temperature’ technology, and its corresponding asceptic carton packaging solution. Lactasoy says it pioneered the use of this technology within the SE Asian region.

The company uses asceptic packaging solutions from SIG Combibloc and Tetra Pak, partnering with the former to start the 300 ml series. Most recently, Lactasoy teamed up with SIG Combibloc again to launch the 125 ml series.
