NJM/CLI says packagers can encode, verify and apply RFID (radio-frequency identification) tags at speeds up to 30 cartons per minute wuth its RFID Integrated Model 400 System. This combines a Zebra RFID printer and verification scanner with the firm's Model 400 Print & Apply Labeller, which has been modified to remove bad tags or labels automatically before they're applied to products. Options include an ancillary antenna and reader that allows the system to write ti tags outside the primary RFID printer. A downstream reader will confirm they are correct. NJM/CLI can configure the system to talk with other upstream and downstream equiptment, using Ethernet and other communication systems. www.njmcli.com
